.Background.
Narcissa Malfoy was born to the questionably happy parents Cygnus Black and Druella Rosier. She has two sisters, although she recognizes only Bellatrix. After Andromeda married muggle Ted Tonks, she was quite dead to the majority of the Black Family. Narcissa was raised in a privileged and snobbish home with her sisters. Said home was pointedly anti-Muggle, and Narcissa's own preferences began to reflect such a thing. Here it should be noted that Narcissa is a Pureblooded Witch. She attended Hogwarts school, assumingly from the years 1966-1974, and was married to Lucius Malfoy at an undetermined point after this (although it is obvious this point is before 1980, when their son, Draco, was born, as a bastard would not be tolerated). It is hinted that while her homelife is not particularly happy, she most enjoys the company of her son and dotes on him even while he is attending school. Narcissa was a part of the Slytherin House during her education.

Narcissa had been through all of her canon and about a year in the village before she was returned home. She's going to have spent about a year and a half at home post-canon when she re-enters the game.

Her previous time in the village has mellowed her somewhat to the idea of being around muggles. She still isn't extremely comfortable around ones that she doesn't know well, but she's unlikely to resort to shouting (or hexing) as a first instinct.

.Appearance.
Narcissa is a woman in her forties who throws off an air of royalty as naturally as she breathes. She is always well-dressed and made-up, and if she is not – well, there is likely something very wrong with either her son or her husband. She has blonde hair and blue eyes, and often wears a look that suggests she has smelled something quite foul.
